You broke my heart so bad
it felt like it fell
and shattered
off of a 100 story building
like a glass vase
with roses in it
that you filled up with,
and now it’s
getting crumpled
petals,
leaves,
thorns,
and glass shards
on the concrete cement.
People stepping over nonchalantly,
not an idea in their heads
of what’s going on.
