My back is breaking now,
For all the times you wore me down.
Heaping on the heavy loads.
All while speaking pretty words.
They say it takes a straw to break a back,
But it seems more like a pillar or log.
I tried to maintain my structure,
And be forever strong
I tried to tell you once,
But you laughed until you were blue.
Because I'm not really that busy,
And you're supporting me
So you ask, how could you break your back?
Even though you're the one
That put the last log on.

Wow, this one really packs a punch! The metaphor of a breaking back from all the unacknowledged strain is so powerful. Love the twist at the end—it's like a sharp realization that hits you. Very impactful!
