Broken and Eclipsed

To be replaced post heartache

By Harrison stewart Published 2 years ago 1 min read
Eclipse of the Heart

Everything reminds me of you.

Can you imagine what that’s like?

Looking around and seeing the cause of my heartache reflected in faces, pictures, clothing, drinks, food, places, people.

I cry most nights, fearing that there is no longer hope, that I have, or shall, soon be replaced, eclipsed, lost to obscurity.

Probably will be, or perhaps already have been. For that is my fate.

Some say I wasn’t enough, that I was too dark, that I blocked your light, and hid your smile.

Each day is a step in the right direction however, each day is a step toward my light, my future.

Oh this was so so so so good. I love that you still had hope at the end!

  • Good Eclipse acrostic… ‘Each day is a step in the right direction however, each day is a step toward my light, my future.’ Lovely optimistic conclusion ✅
