Tell me again what it is
that you do
the truths that you know
how you see the world
not as it is, but as it can be
I never get tired of your
patience
We bask in the shadow of your
unconditionality
an understander of
understanding for the
misunderstood
a mind so deeply complex
yet so simple
like looking at a leaf
and then looking at it under
a microscope and marveling
at its inner workings
a childhood marred by pain
that lingered long after
you rose above adversity
with grit and purpose
but never forgot that boy
who was you
pouring out compassion
all around you
when you're near
good things happen to
good people
uncanny intuition
a shimmering methodology
to freedom and future
a bringer of clarity
to confusion
a heart so deep that I'm
still unable to
see the depths
so maybe it is endless
you have a pocketful of
pebbles for felling our
giants
We're blessed beyond measure
to call you friend
designer of futures
architect of freedom
Amen.
