Bringing a Home into the Air
(Air Home, Challenge, Dialogue Poetry)
The Challenge
"I'm telling you," Bob insisted, "we can do this. We just need to find a way to bring a home into the air."
"Bob," Alice countered, "you're being ridiculous. A home in the air? That's impossible."
"It's not impossible," Bob argued. "It's simply a matter of engineering."
"Engineering?" Alice questioned. "You're not an engineer."
"I don't need to be an engineer," Bob claimed. "I just need to find one."
Thus, Bob embarked on a quest to find someone who could help him build a home in the air. He consulted architects, engineers, and even scientists, but no one had a solution.
"It's just not feasible," an architect declared. "The house's weight would be too great for the air to hold."
"The wind would dismantle it," an engineer warned.
"It's too chilly," a scientist explained. "The air's temperature is too low for habitation."
Hope was fading for Bob. Despite his efforts, help seemed out of reach.
Then, an epiphany struck. He rang Alice excitedly, "I've cracked it! I know how to build a home in the air!"
"How?" Alice inquired.
"With balloons," Bob revealed.
"Balloons?" Alice was skeptical. "They're too fragile to support a house."
"Not just any balloons," Bob clarified. "We'll use special ones, crafted from a material robust enough to bear a house's weight."
"But where will we find such balloons?" Alice wondered.
"That's for me to figure out," Bob assured. "But first, let's design it."
And so, Bob and Alice began designing their airborne abode. After weeks of planning and calculating material weights, they were prepared to build.
Securing a vast tract of land, they commenced construction.
