I Drown In Brown

By Dej RenePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

My magnetic presence radiates an essence of nature’s sweet Brown Cinnamon Sugar;

My fragrance permeates pleasantly like deposited resins of a Mahogany Maple Syrup;

Divinely embraced as I grace the Earth's Chocolate painted terrains with deeply rooted footprints of Bronze,

Truth echos and drips like gold from my voluptuous Caramel lips advancing stories of generations long;

Endurance ingrained in my DNA like the charge of freshly roasted Cocoa alarming my tongue at dawn,

As beaming Honey kissed sun rays add warmth to my natural Caramel coat caressing my every yawn,

Internally upset by social unrest, today I choose to sing a different song;

If everything in life is so Black and White, where does Brown belong?
