Journey To Loving Myself.
Gently putting one foot in front of the other
pulling apart spider webs and twigs
to get ahead...
Breathing in
Breathing out
taking in every single sound
pushing through this final round
unafraid of letting go....
with cold realizations
this consequent frustration
blatant in the air
almost too real to bear....
One foot in front of the other
My life, My fight
My heart, and pride,
I must be the one to shoulder...
Still, in this restless wander,
One foot in front of the other
count one to five, so not to dive
I will not break asunder.
