Breathe breathe

I loved

Contained

In a pretty little box Of delusion

As your words swept over me like a cold breeze

Heavy

Dusty

Dark

I tremble

—- - —— —- -

Breathe

—- — - — - —-

I am

The flesh of an apple

As it fades in the sun

Disintegrates

The ants come and nibble

Pull and poke their holes

Gather

Collect

Break apart

The Apple stands

With nowhere to go

I let you consume me

—- - —— —- -

Breathe

—- — - — - —-

I walk away

Scathed but growing

I’m still standing

—- - —— —- -

Breathe

—- — - — - —-
