The air is heavy, thick with unsaid words,
Our love, once vibrant, now a shard that hurts.
We danced in sunlight, laughed beneath the stars,
But time unraveled what we thought was ours.
Your voice, a melody, now echoes cold,
Fading in the stories we’ll never retell.
I trace the outlines of your empty chair,
Finding only shadows where you used to care.
The heart, a fragile thing, breaks soft, breaks slow,
Yet in its breaking, somehow learns to grow.
Through tears, I’ll wander, seeking light anew,
But part of me will always carry you.
