BREAKING FREE
A Heartfelt Plea for Redemption and Recovery

Dear Haris,
My dearest friend, I write to you today,
To share my thoughts in this heartfelt way.
We've been through much, you and I,
In this journey called life, under the same sky.
But now, my dear, I must be frank,
As I pen these words, my heart feels rank.
For I've seen you struggle, time and again,
With weed addiction, causing you such pain.
Three times in rehab, you've sought to break free,
From the grip of weed, that holds your decree.
Lost money, time, and family's effort,
Yet, addiction persists, a lingering spurt.
Your mother, weary, with tears in her eyes,
Desperate for you to see through the lies.
Your sister, too, hopes for your redemption,
As you battle this demon, with utmost attention.
You were once the hope, the pride of your kin,
A bright young man, with a future within.
But weed's allure, its deceptive charm,
Has led you astray, causing harm.
The lost opportunities, the wasted days,
The struggles faced in so many ways.
The pain you've caused, the tears you've shed,
It's time to break free, from this widespread.
I've seen you falter, stumble and fall,
But deep within, I know you're worth it all.
You have the strength, the power to rise,
To break free from this addictive guise.
It's not just about the money lost,
Or the time and efforts that came at cost.
It's about the life you're meant to live,
The love and joy you have to give.
So, my dear friend, it's not too late,
To turn your life around, to change your fate.
To rise above the shadows of addiction,
And find a path of true conviction.
Seek help, embrace the support around,
Rebuild your life, from the ground.
For your mother's love, your sister's trust,
Are precious treasures, worth more than lust.
You are not alone in this daunting fight,
Many are with you, both day and night.
Your loved ones are here, by your side,
To guide you through, with love and pride.
Remember, Haris, you are strong,
With resilience that can right the wrong.
You can overcome this, step by step,
With determination and unwavering pep.
So, my dear friend, I urge you to see,
The hope that lies ahead, the possibility.
Break free from weed's addictive hold,
And reclaim the life that's worth more than gold.
With love and concern, I say this to you,
You're capable of more, you know it's true.
Embrace the support, seek a brighter way,
And let your loved ones see you in a new ray.
Yours truly, Shams
