Procrastination, a thief of time,

Stealing our focus, a constant climb.

We make excuses, we shift the blame,

Postponing tasks, with no real aim.

We tell ourselves, "there's always tomorrow,"

But the truth is, we'll only borrow,

More problems, more stress, more to do,

The cycle continues, and we feel so blue.

We know what we need to do, we know it's right,

But still we wait, into the night.

We procrastinate, because it's easy,

But the guilt and stress, can be quite breezy.

So let us break free, from this vicious game,

And reclaim our power, to control our aim.

To start today, to take the lead,

And achieve our goals, with great speed.

For time is precious, and it slips away,

And we can't get it back, no matter what we say.

So let us act, with purpose and drive,

And say goodbye to procrastination, forever alive.
