An Entangled View

Pulsing through the earth, twisting around life and death

Emerging dull and lifeless to a fool

You cut through the heavens, breaking up soft light

Crowding the view with your imposturous song

No one hears you in this barren time

Cragged like an elderly monster who insists on living

Birds pass by you, just like all the children after school

Like broken bones, you are useless in your form

If the storm was strong enough it would take you down

It's wrath embellishes in battering lifeless posers

When the sun warms, your blood surges upward

You begin to bloom, laughing at the unseasoned mind
