Boyd: my father, my friend

He worked so hard each day for family,

a better man, you just could never find.

But more than that, he taught us how to play,

to be your best, love others and be kind.

My father had a hard-life, but he knew,

that struggles made you better through and through.

He made sure we had fun, but worked hard too,

preparing us for what life soon would prove.

He knew that somedays life would bring us joy,

and other days would knock us to the ground.

Because of this true blessing we call, Boyd,

we lived our lives out loud, and he is proud.
