Bourgnew's Rite

The Bourgnewian Monarch's Wishes

By Distinguished Honorary Alumni Dr. Matthew PrimousPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
King Cornelius I-King of Bourgnew

O children of Bourgnew

Do not mourn with loud exclamation

Do not weep over my leaving

For my love transcends regions

My humanity knows no one community

Collectively we are one

Embrace and return and embrace

And return to the ages

Dance for me

Dance for joy

Dance for hope

Dance for love

My passing is your celebrating

For we are forever intwined

My heart is your heart

Your feet are my feet

My hands are your hands

Clap, sing and dance

Dance, sing and clap

Be joyful for my upcoming

And let me rest with my fathers

And nourish like my mothers

Dance troubled away

Dance heartache away

Smile O children of Bourgnew

Free your mind and dance, dance and dance again
