Bottom

A lifestyle known by few, but shared by many—

a place that shapes those around difficulty

with the absence of peace.

Deprived of resources,

hope drains away,

leaving the will of many shattered.

Those flooded with opportunity

struggle to grow,

while those who’ve never seen achievement’s eyes

are expected to achieve—

then blamed if they don’t.

Fighting while held back

makes it hard to swing effectively.

At the bottom,

the bar is always moving higher,

further away.

The true trap is settling—

accepting a lifestyle

that halts the seed of progression

and signs a contract for defeat.

I’ve watched life pass by my window,

hoping for the chance

to prove my own greatness—

like a child being asked to walk

before crawling.

Scratching the surface

is only the start.

For those from the bottom,

the space at the top

is fulfilling and abundant.

The truth is simple:

success is defined by self-fulfillment.

The bottom is man-made—

but maintained

by those who sign the contract to stay..
