A Poem

Every feeling every thought

I poured all out

Rolled them up

Quilled into a roll

So tight

Grabbed a bottle

Slipped them inside

Stopped the top up

Cork inside

Ran seaside

Tossed it at the tide

So I‘d never

Have to think

Yet one day

The glass will break

My thoughts returning

Instantly screaming

Over sand and land

And sea they streak

Once they enter into me

I’ll be freed from

Shackles binding me

K. B. Silver

Regaining lost or repressed memories is a painful disturbing process. The brain represses them for a reason after all. The rewards, of repairing a fractured life are worth it, to me at least.
