Boredom

A Short Poem

By Rika LekayPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

I hate it here,

Why can’t I roam around?

I want to be free,

I could be anything,

Anywhere,

Wherever I want,

How I want it,

Where I want to go, no one else can enter~

I let my mind escape,

Escape from the boring reality,

Into my special place,

Where I roam around often,

This is a place that I can cry to,

And I’d get my answers,

This is a place where I clear my mind of negativity,

It’s a place I call home,

It’s a safe place inside,

But if accessed at the wrong time,

It could end my life...

...in the current reality...
