threatens to pull you in

back to the desire of nothingness

but then someone sends you a link

you click it and find that it's them

seven strangers that you know too well

they're there for you

they believe in you

they come when you need them the most

it's just a video, it's just a song

and yet it reaches deep into you

and pulls you back to the surface

and you find yourself smiling

or clutching the warmth now in your chest

wondering why it is this happens

but being entirely grateful that it does
