Book Girl Part 2
A continuation of a previous poem

What if you treated her like a book
With every glance a deeper look
Into her mind and soul
Unraveling secrets she longs to unroll
Turn her pages slow, let tension rise
Savour every secret, every sweet surprise
Let your eyes linger on her cover’s art
But hunger for the story in her heart.
Whisper questions in the quiet night
Devour chapters by soft bedside light
Cherish the moments that make her moan
Highlight the lines that feel like home
Lose yourself in her tangled plot
Find the passion that burns white-hot.
Read her margins, taste her lore
Crave each page, then beg for more
For a woman’s story, wild and true
Is best enjoyed by those who do
