Book Girl

What if you treated her like a book?

By Abi Rose TravisPublished about a year ago 1 min read

What if you treated her like a book

Learning something new with every look

Supporting her through all her changes

Fingers gently running over her pages

Obsessed with her, never wanting to put her down

Bragging about her even when she’s not around

Spending your days wanting to get back to her

Wanting to be lost in her world

The story

The climax

The adventure

The fear of loosing your favourite character

Reading her over and over because you can never get enough

Such a beautiful analogy, just imagine the magic that could happen if we are treated like a book, we would give back sevenfold. Your poem was healing too, because you’re spot on, this is how we would want to be treated and seeing it written like this does more than you can ever imagine. Keep up the good work, I am glad I found you and so is my good friend Maryam 🤗👌🏽💗
