Stars reflect on the dark sea it feels like a dream

Our shadows dance in the sand as we sing

The sun has set once again this is a different realm

Waves keep splashing softly, the moon is on a string

***

The island is asleep by now, it's long past midnight

The fire is slowly burning down the flame is barely alive

Our voices echo on the waves and dissolve in the night

The sea is calling us, one by one is taking a dive

***

I can hear my heartbeat breaking the silence in the dark

The sky and the sea look like they are one and the same

All of my friends are around me as time leaves a mark

The sun is about to come out I can see the flame

***

Summer nights never last but nothing does as it seems

This memory will keep me warm in my cold winter dreams.
