A pocket full of brown

I was no where close to writing about the color brown,

I believed some extreme dark or light shades win the crown...

.

While playing around with my son who is three and a half years old,

I asked him his favorite color and guess what---- "brown" he told...

.

I glanced at him and asked him twice, to check if he changes it,

But then I realized its not fair to tweak his choice, even as a bit...

.

Next night I realized I was noticing it all the while,

Feeling of being surrounded by brown mud around the River Nile...

.

The smell of coffee and its flavor so strong,

Chocolate that melts, gives warmth; to the brown these all belong...

.

The mountains so huge and firm, the beach with fine sand all around,

All these picturesque highlights are majorly brown bound...

.

Cheering to humanity, strength and comfort here we raise a toast,

To all the earthly and divine things, brown relates the most...

.

Well, now I feel that brown is my color, and that's the color I own,

Brown is the base and foundation of everything well-grown...

.
