Sick has never looked so sexy
Where the winding mind is a maze that every hot new single cares to get lost in
Let's go on hours-long dates
Let's talk about our pains, fears, and exes
Let's be vulnerable
And then return to reality, part ways, and ghost each other like the uncommitting terrified society that we are
Have you ever seen a grown man plant cilantro?
We are delicate, fragile, but tough as nails
Have you seen the torn mother attempting to cry her child back to life?
We are resilient, fierce, but falling apart
It is time for revolution, can you not see?
We are imploding and tearing at the seams of reality
Whether it be bells or bombs, hear the people sing
"Rebuild, Rebuild, Rebuild"
And when the censorship intensifies, remember
You can log out, stand up, and step outside
Community is out there waiting

I love this! What's do you look like from behind when you bend over to plant cilantro? ⚡😉
This is a fabulous poem, a raw and striking reflection on modern disconnection and resilience.
remarkable work, yet again. oneg, you never fail to leave me thinking and wondering and building new in my mind.

Wonderful work, Oneg!
This is one of the most arresting sentences I've read in a while "Have you ever seen a grown man plant cilantro?"> And, yes- I just looked up cilantro (which I cannot bear to eat as it washes out my mouth with soapy taste) But Maybe that's what we need Tough and cleansing, Subtle and strong?
Wonderful, Oneg. <3 Rebuild, Rebuild, Rebuild Because we will thrive
