Our body, our greatest treasure
The only house we have.
Money can’t buy health,
which we need to thrive —
or even survive.
Yet in ignorance,
we throw it into vicious flames.
An inferno rages inside —
hot and acidic, like lava.
The body, cries for help,
sends a litany of signals.
We ignore it,
busy impressing
people we don’t even like.
As the devil hijacks our mind,
we blame the sun, the cow,
and everything else for illness.
We kills pangolin to rhinoceros,
wipe out plant species,
in desperation to heal,
while poisoning our food
and skin with chemicals.
Let’s be wise —
our body is irreplaceable.
Let’s treat it well,
before it’s too late.
