Blurs Into Hours and Days

Connected

By Rowan Finley Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Loving, through every night,

familiar sight, gentle voice.

It’s a magical, magnetic moment,

that blurs into hours and days.

Blending haze,

moments of silence and craze.

Candles licking,

questions and phrases sticking.

Not sure where the destination lives,

but they give on, they give on.

There may be nothing left,

but no… there is more to the overflowing cup.

Soft clothes, expensive, and thoughtful,

in awe of such kindness and grace.

Good taste, but will they ask me questions?

Sometimes the worries flow through

the seashore of my mind and heart.

It’s all going to come together though,

As we continue to ebb and grow.
