Souls delight

Heels crack the marble floor

Heads turn from every corner

Time withers to a stop

It’s hands bound by beauty

Its face illuminated with desire

Nothing can prepare the soul of man

That moment of pure clarity

Love is lost and love is won in the blink of an eye

A lifetime of aches softened

She holds the keys to the kingdom

Her blue dress a summer sky

The cut and moves hypnotic

Fortune for the brave

Food for love of chance

Her smile pushed the hands

And now here we are entwined

A limitless bubble of hope and purity

Still she moves, glides, is free

That moment will never cloud nor blur

It will sing for my last breath and further still

For true love has no end
