Blue is the Sea

Alone

By Laura Campbell Published 5 years ago 1 min read

As blue as the ocean

Entangled in motion

Blue as far as the eye can see

The waves crashing in

Oh where to begin

What would you ever want with me

If it isn’t too late

Why must I always fixate

On the idea of us and we

Blue is my heart

When we’re apart

It’s dark in here and I am lonely

In my heart I will keep

These memories run deep

And I will only go on to dream

It’s time to let go

Wander down the black hole

And forever leave you be

For we are alone

And there’s nobody home

In the darkness by the sea
