Juxtaposition of emotions

By Richard James ClarkPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Sparkling with the sunlight reflecting on the royal sapphire in my ear

Teal of clear abundant summer skies and fluffy clouds will soon appear

Oceans of thoughts and dreams that have been put on hold

Cascading waterfalls, pulsating rivers and stupendous mountains of nature behold

Ink of notes indented on several notepad pages smudged with ideas for future plans

Tactile vintage 90s velvet trousers snug and caressed with comforting hands

Within future dating of tangible affection, we must talk in optimism

When socially a narrative mask’s us restricted, survival fanatics and to truly have pure altruism

Time period rooted within the last year and months in lockdowns purgatory in solitude

Looking down with disgust of the excess weight on my freedom of self nude

Piercing eyes of mine hope with faith and sight of Nostradamus like visions of resolution

To counteract conspicuous sadness of death tolls within families blinkered by the light of many dead on the television

fact or fiction
