Blue Eyed Girl

Sister love

Look at you my blue-eyed girl.

Look at all you've been through.

I raise my glass in salute to you.

Hold your head high my beautiful sister.

Never allow the crown to glide.

Own that title, for we can hold our own.

Separated by distance.

Bound by blood.

Ten years apart, but forever in my heart.

Too bad we're miles apart.

We're so different, yet so alike.

We've loved, and we've lost.

Just look at how stubborn we are.

We always manage to overcome on our own.

Outsiders will never guess.

Your blue eyes, my brown.

Your blonde locks, mine dark.

Oh, my blue-eyed sister, what a beautiful strong woman you've become.

Together forever... a Wood we will be.
