Blue Belt Blues

How to get through the BJJ blues...

By Nathan TamPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I'm a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu

Fighting my way, through the ranks I move

But these blue belt blues, they're weighin' me down

Like a weeping guitar, my heart starts to drown

I step on the mat with passion and pride

But when I roll, it's like I'm losing my stride

The higher belts, they seem to always prevail

Leaving me feelin' like I'm destined to fail

Oh, these blue belt blues, they're tearin' me apart

Like a sad, weeping guitar, playing with my heart

But I won't give up, no, I'll keep fightin' through

The blue belt blues, I'll rise above, I'll make it through
