BLUE

We’ve got CATs and Deeres here in Arizona, digging and building everyday til the cities reach the sky. Sky is such a pretty name and blue is such a pretty color, but they don’t really build THAT high and the only thing they build that’s actually blue, are the shiny glass windows sometimes. The scenery’s changing more and more every day, I watch the cinder blocks get stacked and the new roads they pave. Sometimes I wonder where is my place, and if I’m getting anywhere at this pace. Like the world around me, I continue to grow in hopes of one day having something to show. Maybe one day what I build will have shiny blue windows too, or maybe for what I build, there’ll be no name for that hue.
