A blossom in a desert stranded and alone
Lost and forlorn amidst the sand and stone
It’s quivering petals stretching towards the skies
It’s roots digging for ever deeper for water, over and over it tries
As bleak as it looks and as forsaken as it seems
The small fading blossom achieves its dreams
As slowly yet surely it’s strength continues to grow
It’s sustenance found and with it she begins to sow
Her petals unfurl revealing an intoxicating aroma
A queen among flowers and ruler of flora
Her lips soft and silken to the brazen naked touch
Never before a blossom so pure had been witnessed as such
Overcoming all her tribulations and inhospitable environment
Those bitter days now just a memory remnant
To drop her seeds and allow them to join her
The sand and stone around her begins to blur
Where once there was death and no sign of life
Where there was only pain, suffering and strife
Now grows a bountiful garden all evergreen
Filled with blossoms and their beautiful white sheen
