I’m bloomin’ and boomin’ where I’m planted, baby!
Listen to me, while I tell you my story,
no more hidden, pent up glory.
I’m held fast,
just like these flower-petal-masts,
between my knees,
heart warming a few degrees.
I’m reminded of where I came from,
where I am now,
and where I’m headed.
I’m bound for success and joy,
because I feel it employ me daily.
My sister always told me,
“Your smile even makes the sun blush,”
and when I think of her, I feel an emotional river-rush.
