‘Tis said

By my dearest partner of greatness,

I shalt be what is promised to me

Yet

I am afraid to think what I have done

‘Tis said

By Macduff,

“Thou bloodier villain”

Yet

Greatness was promised

Would I could

Wash this blood from my hand

But my hands will rather

The multitudinous seas incarnadine

I think

Our bloody business

Our bloody deed

Our bloody hands

Might be the be-all and the end-all here:

Blood will have blood, they say,

Blood will have blood.
