A crimson tide, a gift unseen,

A selfless act, a flowing stream.

Blood donation, a noble deed,

Planting hope, a vital seed.

From vein to vial, a life renewed,

A stranger's health, a debt imbued.

The needle pricks, a moment's sting,

For someone's fight, a chance to sing.

The red corpuscles, a vital flow,

Carry oxygen where life can grow.

The platelets tiny, warriors bold,

To stem the tide, stories untold.

Plasma's power, a healing light,

In surgery's dark, a guiding sight.

A single pint, a precious share,

Can mend a wound, a burden bear.

So let us raise a grateful hand,

To blood donors across the land.

For in their veins, compassion lies,

A selfless gift that never dies.
