Blocks, perhaps rectangular;
Their edges, clear and hardly curved.
Some are smooth and some are rough,
Some are made to be tough.
There are blocks for building things of use
Structures, furniture people choose
They come in many forms and sizes
From materials that citizens desire
Certain blocks are simply toys
Objects to tinker with and enjoy
Often used by children for
Stacking and knocking down some more
Yet, some blocks are more figurative
Concepts which hold the keys to bliss
Ideas, thoughts, put into words
And hopefully action none too absurd
Without blocks, society wouldn’t be
How it is today to see
So use the blocks around you today
Wisely, and you will carve a way.
