As we are blind laying down
Are we told to see all the colors that surround?
Color pride
Does it create a divide
Not the colors we see
The pride that lives inside
How can we decide
Colors are not something we should hide
You, me, you and I...it’s all what we can see through our eyes
Our expression through color is no surprise
Our eyes lie.
Our eyes in a trance at one glance
What your eyes tell
Have we casted a spell
How can we decide
Colors are not something we should hide
Where is the rainbow when only one color stands
Colors to receive the gift of love in our hands
Look at all this red! All this blood that has been shed!
Look at all this red! Blood flowing passion and love running through our head
The yellow in their eyes
The disease is coming alive
Yellow tulips give them hope to cope
Boring or dull with no color at all?
Life in pictures colorful and bright?
Have we loved each day and embraced each night?
White is the spirit vanishing away
White rain on the wedding day
Love won’t be taken away
Grey is the cloud from the preemptive war
Grey is the silver lining we have never seen before
Dali, Goya, Kalman and Monet
What did their colors say?
Broken and lost, the future...see the present costs
Prisim, pigmentation, perspection and fear for colors to appear
Now standing with pride, we no longer hide the colors inside
Now standing without fear that the colors will not smear, we can see our reflection more clear
Now standing with love
We know these colors were a blessing from above
Now standing with them
We write our stories all over again
Now standing with our pot of gold
We are, who we are and not... what we are told
Now standing as one
Picture puzzle pieces put together our humanity tree
Each piece its own color
Each color its own story to be
Together as one, one picture to go
Humans on earth with all their glorious glow
Black is the heart cold?
Black is beauty of the night, knowing there is always another day... another sight.
Colors seem so bright, we continue to fight
Colors to show our beauty, our worthy, our right
Colors to receive the gift of love
Fly dove....far, far above
How can we decide
Colors are not something we should hide, when love created I and blind faith is at my side
