In our minds we just met;

But in our hearts we were married;

And I never felt,

All the love that was carried.

You touched my heart;

With all your desire;

And with your touch;

You calmed my fire.

I never knew what you meant to me;

Until you weren’t there;

For me to see.

I never saw what was meant to be;

But with me and you;

You always knew there was a we.

Cuddling, hugging, feeling your touch;

I never thought I would miss it so much.

You understood, you loved, you cared;

And all along, it was your heart you shared.

Just another chance, is what I long for;

So I won’t have to ache,

For you no more.
