Blind Eyes, Open Hearts: The Inspirational Tale of a Forgotten Kindness
Lessons in Compassion and Forgiveness: A Teacher's Impact Echoes Through Generations

Once a man meets his childhood teacher. He introduces himself by touching her feet.
She asks very lovingly, ‘Oh wow, you have been my student, what are you doing now, what have you become?’
‘I have also become a teacher,’ the person said, ‘and I got the inspiration for this from you when I was 7 years old.’
That teacher was very surprised, and she said, ‘I can’t even remember your face, what kind of inspiration did you get from me at that age??’
That person started saying…
‘If you remember, when I was studying in the fourth class, one morning my classmate complained to you that his expensive watch was stolen that day.
You closed the door of the class and asked all the children to stand together in a line at the back of the class. Then you searched the pockets of all the children. You found the watch which I stole from my pocket. But since you had asked all the children to keep their eyes closed, no one knew that I had stolen the watch.
Teacher, that day you saved me from embarrassment and shame. And after this incident, your behavior never made me feel that I had done a wrong thing.
You forgave me without saying anything and also saved me from other children calling me a thief.
Hearing this, the teacher said, ‘Son, I too did not know who had stolen that watch.’
The person said, ‘No teacher, how is this possible?’ You yourself took out the stolen watch from my pocket with your own hands.
The teacher said…
‘Son, when I was checking everyone’s pockets, I had said that everyone will keep their eyes closed, and I did the same, I myself also kept my eyes closed.’
*Inspirational thinking of an exemplary ideal teacher. What could be a better example than saving someone from such an embarrassing situation? If that child, who became a teacher after studying with the inspiration of a teacher, can make so much change in his life by taking half the culture, then consider imitating the exemplary message ((You yourself should close your eyes so that comparative/critical thinking does not come in you too)) How much creative change could have been made in life by doing this?
*Let us pledge that even if we come to know about someone’s weakness, let alone exploit it, we should not let that person even get the impression that we are aware of it.*
