I knew that I would love you. Although we'd never met.

My heart started to flutter as soon as the date was set.

I was nervous, happy, scared. Didn't know what I should do.

But I had to get prepared. Because I knew I would love you.

I had so many problems . Many things had to address.

I also had no way to solve them. Which had caused me lots of stress.

I had to get the money. I knew this date wouldn't be free.

Although sometimes life gets funny. I know you couldn't pay for me.

My job had to be better. I knew I didn't make enough.

Cause once we were together. I would have to buy you stuff.

I thought I had the time. Our date had been set for May.

But dropped things on the dime when you had chose another day.

I thought we'd go for breakfast but you said let's make it brunch.

Had time to grab a necklace and bring it to our lunch.

A necklace and some flowers. You surely picked a winner.

I waited there for hours. You didn't come for dinner.

I started getting nervous. How come you were not there.

The people there to serve us told me I should get some air.

But staying was my one demand I knew you'd be there soon.

I waited silverware in hand. Well, couldn't get the spoon.

The call said you were almost there and pushing to come faster.

I told you take the utmost care and just avoid disaster.

You came I looked into your eyes and knew that I was right.

I held you towards the bluesest skies my love was at first site!
