Blades of Grass

The grass isn’t greener on the other side. It is merely another shade.

Remember that everything isn’t always how it’s originally portrayed.

Beauty only measured physically is one that surely will fade.

What you give and what you get will rarely seem like a fair trade.

(So perhaps you should trade your perspective…)

Sometimes you will flee when in fact you should have stayed.

However, sometimes you don’t leave, leaving you to feel betrayed.

(Hindsight is 20/20…)

Just because you perform well, you’re not promised an accurate ‘grade.’

Your worth is not determined by the amount that you get paid.

So when you have those moments when your thoughts have strayed…
