Blackbird Fly (Section Two): Darling
As the blackbird took flight, its wings beating against the wind, I couldn't help but think of you, my darling. The way you spread your wings and soared, fearlessly and with grace, always left me in awe.
It was a sunny day, the sky a vibrant blue, and I had decided to take a walk in the park. I found a bench and sat down, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath. The sound of the birds singing and the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze was soothing.
But as I opened my eyes, my gaze was drawn to the blackbird perched on a nearby tree. It was a beautiful sight, its feathers glistening in the sun. And then, suddenly, it took off, and I watched in wonder as it soared into the sky.
It was then that I thought of you, my darling. You had always been the blackbird in my life, the one who flew higher and farther than anyone else. You were fearless, always chasing your dreams and never letting anything hold you back.
I remembered the day we met, how your smile had lit up the room and how your laughter had filled my heart. You had a way of making everything feel brighter, of bringing joy to those around you.
And yet, you were also strong and independent. You didn't need anyone to hold you up or tell you what to do. You were your own person, and that was what I loved most about you.
As I sat on the bench, lost in thought, I realized how lucky I was to have you in my life. You had shown me what it meant to chase my dreams and to never give up, no matter how hard things got.
You had taught me how to be brave, how to spread my wings and take flight. And for that, I would always be grateful.
As the blackbird flew higher and higher, disappearing into the clouds, I knew that you were out there somewhere, doing the same. You were chasing your dreams, taking risks, and living your life to the fullest.
And I was content to watch you from afar, to cheer you on and support you in any way I could. Because that was what love was all about, wasn't it? It was about letting someone fly, even if it meant they might fly away.
But I knew that you would always come back to me, my darling blackbird. Because even though you could soar higher than anyone else, you knew that home was where the heart was. And your heart was with me, just as mine was with you.
So as I watched the blackbird disappear from sight, I smiled, knowing that you were out there somewhere, soaring through the sky. And I was content to wait for you to come back to me, to hold you in my arms and tell you how much I loved you.
Because you were my blackbird, my darling, and I would always be here, waiting for you to fly back to me.
