Everyday I miss you.

Counting every minute the moon passes the sun because I know you’re

Looking too

Inviting our eyes from two different places

Probably paper glasses on our faces

Shifting in atmosphere, like a solar boogeyman, my smile fell some

Extinguishing the memories, remembering the truth, when the moon hid the sun
