Black

Clad in disdain, bound by distress, purposefully tinted to soothe their ripped hearts.

Black

Castrated of any iota of happiness i possess.

A symphony of miscalculated misconception adorns my neck.

Black

Barricades veil their eyes.

They are oblivious to my plight.

I'm affiliated to the robbers of happiness pain, sorrow and death.

Black

I could have been fertile like green, so victorious like blue or probably be as calming as white.

Even red glitters with love.

Black

I have been banished to a life of incarceration.

They garnish me with regret, lace me with heartbreaks and present me with false accusations.

Black

But just like you,I yearn to love and be loved.

To be cradled and cooed, to be sweet talked and spoiled but nevertheless I'm content with who I am.

Black

Tear down my walls for it will be worth because unlike you,I didnt' choose to be black,I just had to take the blame
