Black Music
A tribute to Black Music month.

Everyone across the world loves to stack music. Especially when it comes to Black music.
In the beginning we laid the foundation and became a sensation in every generation.
From Louis Jordan to Rosetta Tharpe. In all forms of music we were there from the very start.
In Black struggle we paid our dues, then hit the ones and twos, giving life to rhythm with gospel and blues.
When post-war heat started getting hotter, the man upstairs sent a harmonica man named Muddy Waters.
Then we started to shock the soul. Thanks to Chuck Berry and Little Richard, they gave us Rock and Roll.
Black music made social impacts that came around and stayed around, thanks to soulful revolutionaries like James Brown.
This type of music made the world go around and led to empires like the famous Berry Gordy's Motown.
Of course we wouldn't be here without Blackness of family, so lets thank the Jackson Family.
Even in country music we were there on inside with famous voices like that of Charlie Pride.
You couldn't have a better way to define a summer filled with dance floor fun from disco queen Donna Summer.
All of these legends deserve a medal and then Hip Hop came around and took us to another level.
So when anyone asks me what I'll do this month, I'll tell them I'm celebrating Black Music Month.
