It’s the shadows that remind us of our existence.
The shades of black that follow you around where the light shines on you the most.
The colour of mystery, the devine and of the unknown.
So simple at glance yet so loud.
The only colour that is a statement, the symbol of eternity and beyond.
Perhaps it’s the unknown that draws me in, promising me hope.
White wouldn’t have existed without black.
I wouldn’t have been able to appreciate the light without getting lost in all shades of black.
The stars and the moon wouldn’t have stolen the show every night without black.
I wouldn’t have found myself without my shadow.
