Black is just a Shade

A ressurection story

By AmandaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
A resurrection story

Pulled from murky waters just when it all started to fade,

The world began anew, a gentle reminder that black is but a shade,

Like a wild phoenix I emerge, bursting with crimson and red,

The warm embers soothing all engulfed by dread,

And I dance across mountains, each step a new hue,

With the sway of my hands, I glaze dull skies with sapphire and blue,

I dare not forget about the lush beneath my feet,

So with a single twirl, emerald would declare gray's defeat,

While a soft melody would flow from the petals of my lips,

Blushes and lavenders dot the valley from each of my fingertips,

Smiles and laughter would fragrance the world I have made,

For even when the threat of darkness arrives, black is but a shade.
