Black Calamity

Stranded Without gods V.1

By Patrick SantiagoPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Dark suns burn black with tiredness, and I reach out to her cold night for an icy embrace...

I float in shadows as deep as the Mediterranean sea, and swallow her mass like a hungry child gasping for breath...

I found sight in the shallow light of the dark sun and gave her my hand...

We danced in the anxiety of a thousand black suns, and watched the atmosphere kiss the chaos that ignited when we fought for purpose...

It was in black calamity that she taught me peace...
