Black Baptism

LA LA LA Byes Beside the Burning Lake

By Empty Poetry and VersePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Black Baptism

Watch your step

This land is unholy

Battered and chocked

Loved then raped

A cathedral stands now in its place

Baptizing with black water singing hymns to Satan himself

La.. La.. La. byes beside the burning lake

Sirens singing songs

Ambiance of a sanguine paradise

Too much for the eyes but still empty

Like a cave no light could light

Or a word no pen could write

The night so heavy it feels like

Grief

The dark so cold, the dark so cold

All alone, all alone

My coffin is my only home

My coffin is my only home

This resting place, I lay my bones

6ft deep 36 chromosomes

X and y upon the scale

Do I deserve heaven or hell

Who can say if God is gay

What the judgment will be on that day

Only the coffin, and only the grave

They alone have the final say.
