Black & Yellow

Inner skin

By KATRINA HARRIS Published 5 years ago 1 min read

Approximately 85% of the universe consists of black matter,

Being golden brown not black so never knew that black lives matter.

I mean,

you can call me mellow yellow from the inside out.

Black & Yellow the worthy sunflower that stands its ground - stands out.

Plant the seed of the inner glow and watch it grow,

Food for thought...

words are powerful is my manifesto.

Watch me bathe under the sun,

watch me graze on the seeds the Sunflower sowed,

Low key,

Doing me,

Becoming,

and never being whole.

I mean,

you can call me mellow yellow from the inside out.

Black & Yellow the worthy sunflower that stands its ground - stands out.

Let’s not forget the pure land and the dance of the bees,

From ocean to skyline in the ever-changing breeze.

This cardinal air is all that I share,

too love,

too smile,

Too lay myself bare.

Barefoot, bare back, bare yellow, bare black.

No fear just trust out of the dark,

onto the yellow brick road is a must.

I mean,

you can call me mellow yellow from the inside to the out.

Black & Yellow the worthy colours that keeps me dancing, plays, shakes, screams and shouts.
